Cheddar Bacon Chowder
  1. In large saucepan, bring water to boil. Add potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, salt and pepper. Cover and boil gently 15 minutes or until veggies are just tender.
  2. While potatoes are cooking, in a seperate saucepan, melt margarine/butter on medium heat. After margarine/butter is melted, add flower and stir until creamy. Add milk and stir until creamy and thick (don't boil). Add cheese to white sauce and stir until melted.
  3. After veggies are cooked, add sauce (do not drain the veggies), heat throughly and server.
